We woke up in Kolkata today! I woke up at 4:30 at the call to prayer but then went back to sleep. No problems getting to sleep though, I was exhausted! At the airport we were tested for Swine Flu, and then we took the craziest cab ride ever to our hotel. Then we took naps and went to the Mother House of Mother Theresa's Missionaries of Chairty. I'm going to work at Daya Dan with Nicole, which is the home for physically and mentally handicapped children. We then went to dinner and I had chili garlic fried rice at the Blue Sky Cafe. It was sooo good! We then had a quick meeting and went to sleep. Its super hot here but thanks to Bikram yoga, I knew what to expect in terms of temperature. Thanks mom and dad!

stellar day in Vermont, Chris Allen won American Idol who I absolutely adore. I think he was shocked.
Last show, he sang with Ketih Urban and Adam sang with KISS. You just never know which way the cookie is going to crumble.

It good to see that you have arrived. 4:30am? I think I would have missed prayers! Just kidding but it would have been hard getting up. How is the food? You said that the chili garlic fried rice was good but how did the rest of the menu look? Hope you are having a good time. It's not Bikram Yoga hot here (I'm pretty sure you have us beat over there tempeture wise) but it is finally summer like weather here. Right now Burlington is 81 degrees. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
